The imperial effigy occupies the central field, with the laureate wreath clearly defined atop the head. The surrounding Greek legend is disposed around the periphery of the flan, partially visible due to the irregular striking and patination characteristic of provincial Carian bronzes. |

A stag stands at his feet to the left, an iconographic attribute closely associated with the local Carian cult of Zeus at Mylasa. The composition is typical of the civic bronze coinage of Mylasa, with the deity rendered in a classicizing style within an open field, and the ethnic legend disposed around the periphery. |
