The reverse legend ΙΕΡΟΚΑΙϹΑ ΚΟΜΑΝΕ ΕΤ ΒΟΡ identifies the city of Comana Pontica and includes the Bithynian–Pontic era date ΒΟΡ (year 202 of the local era, corresponding to 205–206 AD), affirming the coin's civic and religious significance as a record of the sanctuary city's prestige. |
