| Obverse description | Draped and diademed bust of Otacilia Severa facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Ionian civic coinage under Philip I. The portrait displays the empress with an elaborate stephane-style diadem and layered drapery over the shoulder. The surrounding circular legend is partially legible due to wear and encrustation, reading Μ ΩΤΑΚΕΙΛΙΑ ϹΕΒΗΡΑ ϹΕΒ. The flan is irregular, as is characteristic of provincial bronze issues of this period, with a heavily patinated, granular surface. |
