Reverse description An agonistic prize table depicted in three-quarter perspective, supporting a large inscribed laurel crown containing two upright palm branches, the whole symbolising the Pythian games celebrated at Hierapolis. The table is rendered with sturdy legs and a decorated apron, typical of Phrygian agonistic coinage of the mid-third century. The Greek legend of the city and the games name encircles the central device in the field.
