Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Maximinus I Thrax facing right, depicted from the rear, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder and the scaled cuirass rendered in fine detail. The imperial effigy displays the characteristic broad-shouldered portrait style associated with Maximinus, with pronounced facial features. A circular Greek legend runs along the border of the flan, identifying the emperor by his full titulature.
