She extends her right hand to pour a libation from a patera over a small lighted altar at her feet, while her left arm cradles a cornucopia, symbolising prosperity and civic harmony. The reverse legend is distributed around the field and references the local strategos Rufus and the ethnic designation of the Attaeitans, with the distinctive phi (Φ) rendered in the unusual form ·Ι·, a notable regional epigraphic peculiarity. |
