| Mô tả mặt sau | A circular temple or sanctuary building depicted in elevation, with a closed arched gate at center; the roofline is surmounted by three standing statues of Demeter, each carrying a long torch. The structure is flanked on either side by tall torches wound with serpents, symbolic of the chthonic and mystery cult associations of Demeter at Cyzicus. The reverse legend identifies the issuing city and its status as a neokorate. The composition reflects the pride of Cyzicus in its imperial cult temple privileges and local religious traditions. |
