Reverse description Nemesis standing facing, head turned to the left, robed in a long belted chiton falling to her feet. Her right arm is raised and bent at the elbow, the hand drawing at the folds of the chiton near her neckline in the characteristic gesture of Nemesis measuring fate. Her left hand holds a bridle, the symbol of restraint and divine retribution. At her feet to the lower left lies a wheel, the emblematic attribute denoting her inexorable turning of fortune. The ethnic legend ΝΙΚΑΙΕΩΝ appears in the field, identifying the issuing city of Nicaea.
