| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered in three-quarter view from the rear, displaying the elaborately decorated cuirass with pteryges visible at the shoulder. The imperial effigy occupies the central field, with the laureate wreath rendered in fine detail atop the emperor's head. A Greek legend encircles the bust, divided across the upper field, identifying the emperor by his full imperial titulature. The portraiture reflects the characteristic Alexandrian provincial style, with robust modelling typical of the Trajanic-Hadrianic period. |

| Reverse description | Sarapis depicted standing facing, his head turned to the left, wearing the characteristic modius (kalathos) headdress and himation draped about the lower body. The god holds a long sceptre in his right hand, while to his left stands Cerberus, the three-headed guardian of the underworld, serving as an attribute of the chthonic deity. The date legend L ΙΖ (regnal year 17) appears in the right field, conforming to the standard Alexandrian dating convention. The composition is rendered in the bold, somewhat summary style characteristic of Alexandrian bronze coinage of the Hadrianic period. |
