| Obverse description | Draped bust of the personified Senate (ΙΕΡΑ ϹΥΝΚΛΗΤΟϹ) facing left, rendered in the Antonine provincial style with elaborately coiffed hair and drapery falling across the shoulder. The effigy is depicted with a matronly, idealized countenance consistent with the allegorical representation of the Roman Senate as a divine or semi-divine entity on provincial coinage. The encircling Greek legend ΙΕΡΑ ϹΥΝΚΛΗΤΟϹ (Sacred Senate) appears in the field around the bust. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, typical of hand-struck provincial bronze issues from the Conventus of Cibyra during the Hadrianic period. |

| Reverse description | Artemis, the huntress goddess, stands facing right in a dynamic pose, her right hand drawing an arrow from the quiver at her shoulder while her left hand holds a bow. A hound is depicted in the field behind her, a standard attribute reinforcing her identity as goddess of the hunt. The composition reflects the vigorous, iconographically precise rendering characteristic of Phrygian provincial bronzes under Hadrian. The dedicatory legend encircling the type records the munificence of a local benefactress, Claudia Eugenetoriane, who consecrated this issue to the people of Colossae. |
