| Reverse description | Central type consisting of a large crescent with horns pointing upward, within which a six-pointed star is prominently placed — a composition deeply rooted in the lunar and astral religious symbolism long associated with the cult of the moon god Sin at Carrhae. The design occupies the majority of the reverse field, rendered in bold, simplified relief typical of Mesopotamian provincial bronzes. The encircling Greek colonial legend surrounds the central type along the border of the flan. |
