| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Gallienus facing right, rendered from a rear three-quarter perspective, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The imperial effigy is depicted in the military manner typical of mid-third-century provincial coinage. A Latin legend runs along the outer margin of the flan. The flan is broad and irregular, consistent with provincial hammered coinage of the period. |
