She holds a long sceptre upright in her right hand and a cornucopia in her left arm, both attributes emblematic of imperial divine status. The figure stands on a low base or ground line, rendered in the local Smyrnaean engraving style. The Greek legend encircling the reverse field identifies her as ΔΟΜΙΤΙΑ ΘΕΑ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΗ ΖΜΥΡΝΑΙΩΝ, affirming her divine honours conferred by the city of Smyrna. |
