附加信息	The magistrate named in the legend — Diodoros — served as strategos of Pergamon during a politically delicate stretch of Commodus's reign, after the failed Perennis conspiracy and amid growing instability at court. Pergamon's mint was unusually active in this period, partly because the city was leveraging its status as the leading city of Asia to curry imperial favor through honorific bronze issues. The strategos credit on provincial bronzes was not ceremonial; it carried genuine civic accountability for the issue.
