Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of the emperor Caracalla facing right, depicted from the rear in the characteristic three-quarter back view typical of later Severan provincial coinage. The effigy displays the emperor's military attire with paludamentum visible over the cuirass. The Greek imperial legend encircles the bust along the periphery of the flan. The coin exhibits a dark brown patina with considerable surface wear, consistent with extended circulation.
