| 正面铭文 | ΑΥΤ Κ Μ ΑΥ ϹΕ ΑΝΤΩΝΕΙΝΟϹ (Translation: Emperor Caesar Marcus Aurelius Severus Antoninus) |
| 背面描述 | Standing figure of Kore (Persephone), the principal civic deity of Sardis, depicted frontally and placed upon an inscribed rectangular basis or pedestal. The goddess is flanked on either side by her characteristic attributes — an ear of corn to one side and a poppy to the other — emblematic of her role as a chthonic and agricultural deity. The inscribed basis carries a multi-line Greek legend recording the magistrate's name, the city's twice-neocorate status, and the names of the Koraia and Aktia festival games. The composition reflects the important religious and agonistic identity of Sardis under Caracalla. |
