| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Antoninus Pius, draped in paludamentum and cuirass, facing right and depicted from the rear in the characteristic Alexandrian style. The emperor's effigy is rendered in typical provincial Roman fashion, with the laureate wreath clearly distinguishable atop the head. The surrounding field carries the imperial titulature in Greek characters. The flan is notably irregular, with visible fissures at the rim consistent with provincial bronze coinage of the period. |
