| Obverse description | Draped and cuirassed bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, the head adorned with a radiate crown superimposed upon a laureate wreath, conveying the dual solar and imperial iconography characteristic of Alexandrian coinage. The portrait is rendered in the naturalistic Roman provincial style, with short curled hair and a short beard visible. The Greek legend encircles the effigy along the periphery of the flan. The coin displays the broad, slightly irregular flan typical of Alexandrian bronze issues of this period. |
