Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, seen from the rear, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The imperial effigy is rendered in the characteristic provincial style of Lydian civic coinage, with bold, slightly rough die work typical of the Sardis conventus. The encircling Greek legend occupies the outer field, identifying the emperor by his full titulature.
