| Beschrijving keerzijde | Artemis in her role as huntress, depicted striding vigorously to the right in dynamic pose, clad in a short chiton with her chlamys billowing behind her. She holds a bow in her extended left hand while her raised right arm reaches back over her shoulder to draw an arrow from the quiver suspended there. At her feet, a hound runs to the right, a classic iconographic attribute emphasising the goddess's role as divine huntress and patron deity of Ephesus. The reverse legend, distributed around the field, proudly proclaims the city's prestigious status as holder of the fourth neocorate. |
