Reverse description River god Billaios reclining to the left, his semi-nude figure supported on his left arm, which rests upon a pile of rocks. In his extended right hand he holds ears of corn, while a reed is cradled in the crook of his left arm, serving as the conventional river-god attribute. The Greek ethnic and divine name legend is disposed around the field. The composition follows standard Hellenistic iconographic conventions for personified river deities on provincial civic bronzes.
