Reverse description Full-length standing figure of Geta Caesar depicted facing, with head turned to the left, clad in a toga. In his right hand he holds a patera, and in his left an eagle-tipped sceptre (scipio), attributes emphasizing his imperial dignity. The reverse legend, disposed around the figure in the field, identifies both the honoree and the issuing civic authority. The composition is consistent with Nicaean civic bronze issues honoring members of the imperial family during the reign of Septimius Severus.
