| Obverse description | Draped and diademed bust of Plautilla facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed and bound, rendered in the provincial style typical of the Lydian mint of Hypaepa. The effigy displays the characteristic portraiture conventions of Severan-era civic bronzes from the Conventus of Ephesus, with delicate facial features and layered drapery at the shoulder. The encircling legend names her as Fulvia Plautiana Augusta. |
