| Obverse description | Laureate head of Septimius Severus facing right, rendered in the characteristic provincial style of the Pergamene conventus. The portrait displays the emperor's distinctive features with a radiate laurel wreath crowning the head. The circumferential Greek legend runs around the periphery of the flan, partially visible due to the coin's damaged and irregular edge. The surface shows heavy patination consistent with prolonged burial, with dark brown and green encrustations obscuring fine detail in the field. |
