| Description du revers | The personification of Provincia Dacia stands facing left, clad in traditional Dacian attire and wearing the characteristic Dacian cap (pilleus), holding a curved falx or sword in her right hand and two vexilla (military standards) inscribed with the numerals V and XIII in her left. To her left stands an eagle facing left with head turned right, holding a wreath in its beak, symbolising Roman imperial authority; to her right stands a lion facing left, a heraldic emblem associated with the province. The composition is enclosed within a beaded border, with the Latin legend and the regnal year notation AN III distributed around the periphery. |
