Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Marcus Aurelius facing right, with characteristic beard rendered in fine detail. The imperial effigy displays a radiate laurel wreath crown and visible paludamentum fastened at the shoulder. The Latin legend encircles the bust along the outer border of the flan, partially visible on this worn specimen. The portrait reflects the Antonine provincial style, with broad facial features and curling hair typical of Corinthian civic coinage of the period.
