Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Marcus Aurelius facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Corinthian colonial coinage. The emperor's effigy displays a radiate laurel wreath and visible paludamentum over the cuirass. The Latin legend is arranged peripherally around the bust, reading partially retrograde or with a sic notation, consistent with local die-cutting conventions. The flan shows typical irregular hammered fabric with natural surface patination. The portrait captures the mature, bearded physiognomy of Marcus Aurelius as established in his coinage from 161 AD onward.
