To the left stands a laurel tree entwined by a serpent (Python) with an arrow embedded in its head, referencing the Pythian myth; to the right, an upright sword in its sheath. The reverse legend in two lines names the magistrate Kapiton and the civic ethnonym of Germe. The composition reflects the strong Apolline cult associations of the region. |
