Reverse description Nude Apollo standing to right with legs elegantly crossed, raising his right hand to rest upon the top of his head, while his left arm leans upon a decorated pillar or omphalos surmounted by a lyre. To the left stands a laurel tree entwined by a serpent (Python) with an arrow embedded in its head, referencing the Pythian myth; to the right, an upright sword in its sheath. The reverse legend in two lines names the magistrate Kapiton and the civic ethnonym of Germe. The composition reflects the strong Apolline cult associations of the region.
