Obverse description Draped bust of Faustina II facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed and piled atop the head in the characteristic Antonine style. The effigy is rendered in high relief with finely detailed drapery folds visible at the shoulder and chest. The encircling legend ΦΑΥϹΤΕΙΝΑ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΗ runs around the periphery, partially visible against a dotted border. The portrait displays the idealized yet individualized features typical of provincial Mysian bronze coinage of the Antonine period.
