| Obverse description | Bare-headed bust of Lucius Verus facing right, with short curly hair and a trimmed beard rendered in the characteristic Antonine style. The effigy is depicted with fine portraiture detail, showing a strong profile with well-defined facial features. The Greek imperial titulature legend surrounds the bust, running along the periphery of the flan. The neck truncation is plain. The overall style is consistent with provincial bronze coinage of the Pergamene conventus during the joint reign of Marcus Aurelius and Lucius Verus. |
