| Reverse description | Tyche, the personification of civic fortune, rendered as a standing draped female figure turned to the left, wearing a kalathos (modius-style crown) upon her head. In her extended right hand she holds a ship's rudder, symbolising guidance and destiny, while her left arm cradles a cornucopia overflowing with abundance. The multi-line Greek magistrate inscription naming the strategos Pardalas Menophilos in his second term (ΤΟ Β), together with the ethnic ΝΑΚΡΑϹΕ, is distributed around the field and periphery. |
