| Obverse description | Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Macrinus facing right, presented three-quarter from the rear, with a short beard visible in profile. The imperial effigy displays military dress with paludamentum draped over the cuirass, rendered in the provincial style typical of Bithynian civic coinage. The Greek legend runs around the periphery of the flan, partially visible due to the irregular striking. The surface exhibits an olive-green patina characteristic of struck bronze from the region, with some flan cracking consistent with the period. |
