Reverse description A tetrastyle temple with four columns and an arcuated (arched) lintel, rendered in profile elevation; within the intercolumniation stands the cult statue of Samian Hera facing. The architectural framing is typical of provincial coin reverses honoring locally venerated deities. The legend in the exergue or field identifies the issuing community of the Samians.
