The imperial effigy is depicted with characteristic late Antonine portraiture, the laurel wreath clearly visible atop the head. The Greek legend encircles the bust along the periphery of the flan, reading from lower left to right. The flan is slightly irregular, as typical of provincial bronze coinage of this period. |

The goddess is rendered in a classical stance typical of civic bronze coinage from Bithynia, with the reverse legend ΝΙΚΑΙΕΩΝ inscribed around the field identifying the issuing city of Nicaea. |
