Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Caracalla facing right, portrayed three-quarter view from the rear, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The imperial effigy is rendered in the typical Roman provincial style, with the laureate wreath clearly indicated atop the head. A beaded border frames the periphery of the flan.
