Obverse description Laureate head of Antoninus Pius, facing right, with traces of drapery visible at the shoulder. The portrait is rendered in the typical provincial style of Bithynia, with the laureate wreath clearly delineated despite surface wear. The Greek imperial legend encircles the effigy, reading partially along the upper and lateral fields. The flan is slightly irregular, consistent with provincial hammered coinage of the mid-second century AD.
Obverse script Greek
Obverse lettering ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟϹ ΑΝΤΩΝΕΙΝΟϹ (Αs shaped as Λs)
(Translation: Emperor Caesar Hadrianus Antoninus)
