Obverse description Bare-headed, laureate bust of Tiberius facing left, draped at the shoulder, with finely rendered hair rendered in layered strands. An eagle with spread wings is depicted below the bust in the lower field, a symbol of imperial authority. A laurel branch is visible in the right field beside the bust. The circumferential Latin legend TI CAESAR AVGVSTVS runs around the periphery, partially framed by a dotted border.
