| Reverse description | Frontal cult statue of Artemis Anaïtis depicted in the characteristic xoanon form, standing erect with arms extended horizontally at the sides, her body tightly wrapped in a ornate polos-crowned, heavily draped cultic garment. The statue occupies the central field and closely follows the iconographic type well attested on Hypaepan civic coinage, referencing the goddess's syncretic identity with the Anatolian Anaïtis. The surrounding Greek legend names the city of Hypaepa and the presiding strategos Condianus. |
