The effigy is rendered in the typical provincial style of Phrygia under the joint reign of Valerian and Gallienus. The circular legend surrounds the bust in the field. The coin shows characteristic irregular flan edges and uneven strike typical of Phrygian civic bronze coinage of this period. |
