Reverse description Artemis Huntress depicted in dynamic running pose to the right, her chlamys billowing behind her. In her left hand she carries a bow, while her right arm reaches back over her shoulder to draw an arrow from the quiver suspended there. A hound runs at her feet to the right, reinforcing the hunting iconography so closely associated with the cult of Artemis at Ephesus. The reverse legend surrounding the scene proudly proclaims the city's status as sole holder of the four-time neocorate.
