| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gallienus facing right, depicted from the rear in the characteristic three-quarter back-facing style common to provincial bronzes of the period. The emperor's radiate wreath and military attire are rendered with moderate relief, typical of the Ephesian civic mint. The obverse legend encircles the effigy, partially visible along the left field. The coin exhibits a dark green patina with areas of encrustations consistent with prolonged burial. |
