Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gallienus facing right, depicted from a rear three-quarter perspective, a convention found on certain provincial issues of this reign. The effigy displays the emperor in full military dress, with the cuirass rendered in relief. The encircling Greek legend identifies the emperor by his full titulature and runs around the periphery of the flan.
