| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Trajan Decius facing right, portrayed from behind, with paludamentum visible over the left shoulder and articulated cuirass detailing. The imperial effigy is rendered in the vigorous, slightly rough style characteristic of Dacian provincial coinage. The encircling Latin legend reads IMP TRAIANVS DECIVS AVG, interrupted by the bust, and is bordered by a beaded outer rim. |
