| Reverse description | Apollo standing facing, nude, with head turned to the left, holding a laurel branch in his outstretched right hand and a patera in his left hand extended over a lighted altar at his side. An uncertain object appears to the right of the composition, possibly an omphalos or cult symbol. The deity is depicted in the classical standing pose conventional for Apollo on provincial civic coinage. The reverse legend in two lines identifies the issuing civic community of Creteia-Flaviopolis. |
