Reverse description A tetrastyle temple depicted in frontal elevation, its four columns framing the standing figure of Tyche facing left within the cella. Tyche is shown in her traditional attributes, holding a ship's rudder in her right hand and a cornucopia in her left, symbolising fortune and abundance as the tutelary deity of the city. The temple's architectural rendering is characteristic of civic coinage from the Pergamene conventus. The ethnic legend in Greek encircles the design, attributing the coin to the community of Thyatira.
