Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, depicted from the rear in the characteristic three-quarter back view typical of Severan-era provincial coinage. The effigy displays the emperor's paludamentum and body armour rendered in low relief. The surrounding Greek legend runs along the periphery of the flan. The surface carries a dark olive-green patina consistent with prolonged burial, with considerable wear obscuring finer engraving details.
