Reverse description Asclepius, the god of medicine, depicted standing facing with his weight distributed evenly, his right hand raised to his hip and his left arm resting upon his characteristic serpent-entwined staff (the kerykeion of Asclepius). The figure is rendered in a schematic provincial style typical of Carian civic bronzes of the Severan period. The ethnic legend ΕΥΙΠΠΕΩΝ, identifying the issuing city of Euippe, is distributed around the field.
