| Obverse description | Diademed and draped bust of Otacilia Severa facing right, depicted in the characteristic provincial style of Asia Minor. The empress wears a stephane and a diadem, with her hair elaborately coiffed in the fashion of the mid-third century. The draped shoulders are rendered with visible folds of fabric. The encircling Greek legend names her with her full imperial titulature in the field around the portrait. |
