Obverse description Diademed and draped bust of Otacilia Severa facing right, rendered in the typical provincial style of the mid-third century AD. The empress is depicted with an elaborately styled coiffure, her diadem visible above the brow, and her shoulders draped in imperial robes. The Greek obverse legend encircles the bust, identifying the empress by her full name. The relief is moderately struck, with characteristic die wear consistent with provincial bronze coinage of the Conventus of Sardis.
